On the news, Mo Brooks (R-Huntsville) released the following statement:
“I am incredibly proud to announce that, out of 435 Congressional Districts across America, the Tennessee Valley is honored by U.S. News and World Report to be the home of the best place to live in America: Huntsville, Alabama.
“Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley have great schools, affordable and safe communities, and a booming economy that are second to no one – all thanks to city, county, state and federal elected officials who have demonstrated what happens when teamwork and good conservative principles are in action.
“There is a reason Space Command chose the Tennessee Valley’s Redstone Arsenal as its home over every other part of America: no one can beat us as the best place to live in America.
“My opponents in the Senate race falsely claim I am ‘ineffective’ and ‘do nothing,’ so I’m sure seeing my congressional district receive the national recognition it deserves is tough for them. The good news is that the principles that have made Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley so great are exactly what I’ll fight for in the Senate, to ensure that every Alabamian gets the best quality of life in America.”
